Questions from Europe & UK buyers
Are you BRCGS or IFS certified?
No. We currently hold FSSC 22000 (GFSI-recognised), FSSAI, APEDA RCMC and IEC. FSSC 22000 is GFSI-recognised, as BRCGS and IFS are. If your customer requires one of them specifically, say so in the quotation form and we will tell you plainly whether and when we can meet it.
How do you control pesticide residues?
Every contract farmer works to an approved-input list under a standardised package of practices in place since 2014; pre-harvest intervals are controlled plot by plot and spray records are held for every plot. An external laboratory screens residues each season against the EU MRLs (and the GB register for Great Britain). We do not claim residue testing of every lot.
What is the transit time?
Indicative port-to-port: Rotterdam / Antwerp 22–30 days, Felixstowe / London Gateway 24–32 days from Mundra or Nhava Sheva, subject to carrier routing. Add the rail leg from ICD Dadri to the port.
Which pallets and how many per container?
Euro 800 × 1200 (up to 23 per 40' HC, mixed-orientation pattern, carrier to confirm) or ISO 1000 × 1200 (20). ISPM-15 treated, corner boards, stretch-wrapped, GS1-128 pallet labels.
How is the retail pack labelled?
To Reg. (EU) 1169/2011 or the UK rules, with "cook before consumption", your artwork to our dieline, EAN-13, and 12 months from packing date. A pre-production sample is approved before the first container.
What shelf life do you give?
24 months from manufacture on bulk and foodservice packs and 12 months from packing date on retail packs, stored at −18 °C.
